Dr. Parth Patel is a current fellow within the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Structural Heart Disease Fellowship Program. He was raised in the Philadelphia suburbs and received his collegiate and medical school degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his internal medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and started his clinical cardiology training at MGH in 2021. Dr. Patel's long-term career goal is to be an academic interventional cardiologist with advanced clinical training in structural heart disease, dividing time between patient care, education, and clinical research. His area of academic interest is in identification of the patients best suited for emerging transcatheter therapies.
