    Deborah Courtney, FNP,C/BC, CCK is the lead Valve Clinic Coordinator at Maine Medical Center. She has worked with the heart valve program for 8 years.
    She earned her Master's degree at the University of Southern Maine in Nursing, and was certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for many years before going on the get a post- graduate certificate as a Family NP through Saint Joesph's College of Maine. She is currently enrolled in the post graduate program at the University of Southern Maine as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care nurse practitioner student.
    She is certified through the ACC in Palliative Care for the Cardiovascular Clinician.
    She recently passed the ACC CCK exam.
