Angelica Giuliani is the Lead Outpatient Physical Assistant and Valve Clinic Coordinator for the Division of Cardiac Surgery and Structural Heart Program at Brigham & Women's Hospital. Her passion for cardiac surgery began at an early age after shadowing her most influential role model, her mother, who has worked as a Cardiac Surgery PA at Johns Hopkins for many years. She quickly knew she wanted to follow in her footsteps. She is originally from Laurel, MD and attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate education where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Science. She graduated from Long Island University's Physician Assistant Program in Brooklyn, NY with a Master of Science degree and moved to Boston shortly after graduation. She began working in Cardiac Surgery at BWH in 2020 and became a VCC with the Structural Heart team in 2021. She loves her job, particularly educating and interacting with patients, as well as spending time with her colleagues in clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys trips to the beach, attending group fitness classes, and visiting family and friends back home in Maryland with her husband, who is also a UMD alumni, originally from the South Shore of MA. She has been attending NEVASH since she became involved in the SH program several years ago, admitting it is her favorite conference by far, and she is excited to become a member of the faculty this year!
